We have been

absolutely Blessed this Christmas.

Donations have come and are, coming in

that will ensure we can look after the dogs in our care.

You all know who you are, and we won't embarrass anyone BUT,

we have to name and send a HUGE vote of thanks to BRA for a very generous cheque

raised at the Seiger. We knew it was going to be in Ann's Memory and Christmas is a particularly

poignant time for us. The Whole team is very very grateful to BRA and EVERY ONE of the individuals who

so generously

sent donations

THANK YOU

A fantastic effort and she did it whilst not feeling so well too!

THANK YOU SHARON!!

Just imagine what she has let herself in for when she feels well!

The team takes this opportunity to thank all the

'auctionees' for taking part and buying.

----====*0*====----

We are also equally thankful to all you lovely people that make donations

A superb effort has been made to bring the calendars to you

I can't emphasise how much effort has gone into it this year.

Most, if not all the work has been done by Tammany as if she didn't already

have enough on her plate!

Anyway, enough gabble from me. The Calendars are on sale in the shop

There is a better choice this year too, A3, A4, A5 AND a Desk edition so you can show off

your favourite breed on the wall and the desk! Go on buy two! You know it makes sense....

clicking the above text will take you straight to the shop, we know you don't want to waste any time getting there..

2019 British National Sieger Show

was Hosted by BRA this year!!

We attended and had a good time

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH BRA

Most welcoming and organised as usual!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH EAST MIDLANDS ROTTWEILER CLUB:-

for your hospitality, we had a great time.

It was a long day for Sam, Nicola and Sam's dad, but grateful thanks to you all.

East Mids Rotts

Sam did some selling and someone offered her money for her Dad!

She declined but again, thanks for the assistance Sam's Dad.

Sam also handed out some new sponsorship forms and had dialogue with friends

and benefactors. She got herself talked into donating one of the

beautiful weather vanes her company makes, which will be raffled, we think at Yeovil

but we will try to confirm that because some of the proceeds will come back to RIN.

A lot of auction items were donated for our Auction Queen Sharon to use at the Christmas Auction too.

Thank you to all the donators. We will keep the items as a surprise,

ooops a couple of photos have fallen onto the page!

This is what we are here for. And what keeps us here!

This is Rufus, You may remember him as Roo, Tina Parsons gave him his forever home

and has had him for a relatively short time.

But just look at the difference she has made to him, Well Done Tina!

Well Done again Tina, and thank you so very much!

And some more news, Sue Tipton is fostering 16 month old 'Reggie'.

He was so badley treated his hearing was damaged, but with the help of veterinary care

and some special 'deaf training' by Caroline Lewis, he is coming along and might be ready for

rehoming. The vets seems to think the treatment could restore some of the loss too.

He has found a friend in a Goat? I really must get a photo!!

So good luck to Reggie.

We, well Sam that is, went to BRA with our stand and met loads of you all there.

We owe your Dad a vote of thanks too!

So Thank You Sam's Dad!

showtime

And some of our lovely customers...

customers

Eric had a new collar plus a cuddly toy for being a good Pup.

Sam sold out of a few items and the tombola was busy, together they raised much needed funds.

Gracious thanks to all our super customers and supporters, we can't do it without you

and that thought is always in our minds.

BRA had an activity on our behalf too, selling off old trophies -

the proceeds swelling RINs diminuishing coffers,

so we proffer our grateful thanks for their invitation

and hospitality and funds. As always, a most enjoyable show, thank you again good people.

So look out Warwick and The East Mids Shows where we hope to have a presence

to raise some more for the rescue's welfare.

Don't forget save postage and you may pick up any shop orders from the shows, also

you may drop off anything you have for our various fund-raising activities

prizes, auction items, money's good we'll take that too!!

We're dreaming of a

Calendar Christmas!!

It seems a long way off, but there is a lot of preparation needed for the Calendar.

We seem to have enough photo's, thank you so very very much for sending

in your photo's for consideration.

I was going to send this shot of Rudi in for May;

Rudi

the bluebells make it the right time of year, but he was being just plain RUDE!

Whatever photo's you think would look good on the Calendar; action, comedic

whatever, we'll pick what we think is good enough, you never know a wintery one

might suit the Christmas card!

A donation with the photo would be nice. PayPal is good via the donation button,

but mark it 'For Calendar Photo'. It won't influence

whether it's used or otherwise.

But wouldn't it be nice to know thats your dog going worldwide on the 2020 calendar?

raffle tickets and generally meeting folk.

We've received a very useful donation, £440 from David Raynes. David raised the money

by producing and selling his own Calendar with photos of his Rott 'Norman'

Norman looks a bundle of fun and I thought it worth posting his sales pitch since he seems

very articulate for a Rottweiler!

Norman

Thank you to David and of course Norman! (Loads of ring experience then?)...

We have to say Thank you very much to so many of you for your generous donations,

the Christmas period was particulary challenging for us and the funds came into their own.

We have some special thanks for Jane Powell, after a long and stressful illness she is back and baking.

Jane you are brilliant, baking and selling your Christmas range for RIN's benefit to the tune of £290.

Welcome back sweet lady from all of us, we are all pleased that you are so well.

Thanks also to Darren Tucker, your donation will go a long way sir!

Clare Lacy is also deserving of applause, thank you for your donation from the

proceeds of another 'on line' dog show, let us know when you are repeating the show,

DOGGO LOTTO!

Jane Whittaker Runs a licenced, and therefore legal, lottery.
It's for the benefit of rescued dogs. It even has a video'd draw!

TRY PLAYING THE DOGGO LOTTERY!

It is February & the 2nd Game of 2020 is here!

CAN WE DREAM OF A *£5000* PRIZE FUND?

WE CAN DO IT FOLKS!

Lets try for £5K, and lets keep nominating RIN and push a prize in RIN's direction,

so don't forget to mark it for RIN on your entry.

And the result for January 2020: The first draw of the year
The single winner of a third of the total take was ticket number 802, M. Nilsson, who won £1159.34

the other two thirds went to various dog rescues.

Such a huge amount of work in distribution for Jane.

The Named Kennel for February is:

"Devon Dog Behaviour"

DDB

C'mon Let's try to get the fund over the £5000 for the next draw of 2020!

Buy an extra ticket knowing you have helped loads of dogs,

the Prize could be £1600+ - how's that for a bonus?

GO ON YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!

You can watch the draw on facebook by CLICKING HERE.

What happens is a multiple of £2 is donated, and each £2 donation has a number allocated. At the end of the month
One number is randomly picked, the winning number will receive a third of the pot,
April 2018 for instance, one third went to Rottweilers in need and the remaining third split between the dog rescues that took
more than 20 votes cast by the players. Don't forget to add your vote when you pays yer money!
The main monthly rescues chosen will alternate between Caki Bravo in Bosnia
and the different UK rescues that supply help to Caki.

The idea is to give the less well represented rescues a chance,
an even better reason to buy a few more tickets.

Lets see if we can't get RIN up there again...
